Chatham Chandelier
An 18th century design, seen in homes and public buildings throughout the thirteen colonies. The wiring in our adaptation is cleverly hidden inside the brass arms. A simple country chandelier, at one time hand forged in iron and lit by candles only. Ours is cleverly made of brass tubes to hide that modern necessity -- the wiring. Georgetown Chandelier
Typical of the early chandeliers used in country meetinghouses throughout the Colonies, with a robust hand-turned wooden post and eight curving antiqued tin arms. The antique finishis achieved by lightly distressing black paint over a base of colonial blue. Aged drip candle sleeves. Uses eight candelabra bulbs; 60 watt maximum each.
