Adjustable music or reading stands became popular in the coastal cities of the new American Republic after 1795. We have reproduced a rare original music stand found in New England. Silvered Glass Candlesticks
These candlesticks are made of clear cast glass that has been coasted with silver on the inside. Known in the 19th century as "farmer's silver" or "poor man's silver" because they imitated more costly sterling silver or plated silver originals. "On Virtue" Sampler Print
A school girl sampler, worked by Elizabeth Stewart and dated March 1812. The verse is entitled, "On Virtue". Arch Dial Wall Clock
This wall clock is made of pine with an applied face reproduced from an early American tall case clock. The stem of the brass stem-and-pendulum assembly is adjustable so that the pendulum can hang short (as shown) or long, as you wish. Reliable quartz movement.
