WOODEN SHELF CLOCK
This shelf clock is adapted from the wooden case clocks known generally as "Massachusetts shelf clocks" made during the first quarter of the 19th century by clockmakers in Boston, Newburyport, Southern New Hampshire, and Vermont. Made entirely of Eastern white pine, with a hinged glass-front door. Painted black over a base of red, lightly distressed. Reliable quartz movement. Takes two AA batteries (not included). Shelf Clock measures 12 1/4" wide x 4 1/4" deep x 17" high. Made in USA.
