HANGING LIGHTHOUSE LANTERN

A reproduction of a hand-held lantern from the 19th century, this lantern features a hand-blown "onion globe" in what is called the "optic" style. The thick wavy glass magnifies light in the same way a lighthouse does. The globe is easily removable for glass cleaning and for quick replacement of burned-out bulbs. Uses one standard light bulb; 75 watt maximum. UL listed. Ceiling mounted. Complete with matching ceiling pan and 3' of chain.

Entirely made of solid brass. Available in two finishes - antique brass (shown) and dark brass.

Hand-crafted in a small metalworking shop here in New England. Because this is not an imported lighting fixture, replacement glass and spare parts are always available.
