PEWTER CHAMBERSTICK

Chambersticks were made with a broad pan at their base to prevent dripping wax from staining the carpet as they were carried from room to room. Note the separate extinguisher hanging from its own hook. Both chamberstick and extinguisher are made from solid hand cast pewter. Octagonal base is 5 1/2" in diameter. 5" high.
