AMBER SILVERED GLASS CANDLESTICKS

These candlesticks are made of amber colored cast glass that has been coated with silver on the inside. Popular in the 19th century because they imitated more costly brass originals. At the time, silvered glass was very popular, but ironically candlesticks like these reproductions are now extremely rare. Candlesticks are each 7 1/4" high. Imported.
