ROUND SUNBURST SCONCE

Both backplate and bobeche of this single sconce are embossed in exuberant radiating designs. Typical of the work of rural tinsmiths in America who sought to imitate in tin the expensive mirrored glass sconces used in the "fancy" homes in coastal towns and cities. Made of tin with a hand-applied antique finish. Backplate measures 8" in diameter; overall height of the sconce is 12". Candles only.
