Fireplace screens are a 19th century invention intended to decorate the front of the mantel when the fireplace is not in use. This freestanding screen is composed of four movable panels covered in leather and entirely hand painted in a European floral motif. Center panel is 24" wide x 30" high. Each side panel is 12" wide x 30" high. Open width is 48". Imported.
