STAFFORDSHIRE SPANIELS - RED
Staffordshire pottery mantelpiece ornaments, particularly pairs of dogs, were extremely popular in England in the mid-19th century. This classic pair of red and white seated spaniels is faithfully copied in every detail--hollow-bodied and handpainted with soft gold chains and pink noses. Spaniels each measure 5 1/2" wide x 7 1/2" high. Imported.
