CHILDREN'S PORTRAIT PRINTS

This pair of portraits depicts two prosperous mid-19th century children wearing their finest clothes. The little boy is carrying his straw hat; the little girl holds a pink rose. These prints capture the details and lovely colors of the originals. Framed under glass in rosewood stained wooden frames. Framed size is 15 5/8" wide x 21 3/4" high. Ready to hang. Made in USA.

The girl in the blue dress is Rosa Heywood, born Oct 1834, daughter of Walter and Nancy (Foster) Heywood, of Gardner, Massachusetts. The painter is Deacon Robert Peckham (1785-1877) of Westminster, Massachusetts. The original painting is in the collection of the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Folk Art Museum in Williamsburg, Virginia.
