"IMAGINARY HARBOR VIEW" PRINT
Found in Salem, Massachusetts, this overmantel painting (c. 1800) is attributed to the Neapolitan artist Michele Felice Corne (1752-1845), who lived in Salem, Boston, and Newport. Note the lovely floral border incorporated into the painting and the thin gold line surrounding the central image, both of which help to create the illusion that the central image is on a raised panel. This print is framed under glass in a wood frame painted black and lightly distressed. Framed size is 33 1/2" wide x 20 1/2" high. Made in USA.
