Two sisters from the Torrey Family of Fitchburg, Massachusetts are depicted in this painting--Sarah Frances Torrey (born 1829) and Frances Isabella Torrey (born 1831), daughters of Ebeneezer and Sarah (Adams) Torrey. Our print is a faithful copy of the original painting, now in the collection of Greenfield Village and Henry Ford Museum. Under glass in a black wooden painted frame.
