JIGSAW FLORAL HOOKED RUGS

There was no limit to the ingenuity of American women who made their own carpets, whether by choice of for reasons of thrift. Hooked rugs became popular in the 19th century. Like the originals from which these are adapted, our rugs are hand hooked with 100% wool on burlap. This is a reproduction of a traditional pattern known as "Jigsaw Floral". The colors shown in the photograph is accurate, but there will be slight variations in the weave from rug to rug. Imported.
