NO. 323 CHESS TABLE

Dutch settlers brought the game of chess to America about 1641. We have adapted our Sewing Table for use as a gaming table. Mortise-and-tenon construction, with a dovetailed drawer. Table base is solid cherry, with drawer interior of pine. Chess board top is inlaid with sycamore and walnut squares. Drawer will hold both chess and checker pieces. Shown in Oil finish. Height is 26". Top is 17 5/8" x 17 5/8". Squares are 1 3/4".

Available as a do-it-yourself kit and as a "ready to ship" finished piece.
