No. 328 PORRINGER TOP TEA TABLE

In the years following the reign of Queen Anne of England (1702-1714), tea tables became the focal point of front parlors all over the American colonies. The "porringer" shaped top and the diminutive padded feet on this piece indicate that it was most likely made in rural Rhode Island, circa 1720-1750. Mortise-and-tenon joinery. Entirely made of hard maple, like the original. Shown in Medium Stain. Height is 25 1/2". Top measures 31 1/4" x 21".

Available as an unfinished kit and a "made to order" finished piece.
