No. 386 GEORGIA HUNTBOARD

Huntboards originated in the Southern colonies as serving tables in the dining room. They are a bit taller than other side tables, and generally do not have an overhang at the back. This wonderful scallop front example is thought to be from Franklin County, Georgia circa 1830-1850. Pinned mortise-and-tenon construction. Perfect height for a telephone table. We make this in solid birch wood. It is shown painted in in Soldier Blue, like the original. Kit comes without stain; paints are available here. Height is 36". Top is 34" x 18".

Available as an unfinished kit and a "made to order" finished piece.
