HOGSCRAPER LAMP

Our hogscraper candlestick lamp is adapted from an early hogscraper candlestick marked "JAs. DAVIS". The original is tin, with a sliding thumbscrew and insert to push up the candle. It is likely the work of James Davis, a brass founder working in Boston in the first quarter of the 19th century. Made for us in cast aluminum, which means that it has the weight and feel of the original. Uses one standard light bulb; 75 watt maximum. 15" high. Complete with clip-on parchment shade. Casting and shade are made in USA.
