ROUND BRASS CANDLESTICKS
This heavy round brass candlestick can be dated to the second half of the 17th century, based on the location of the drip tray, just under the candle cup. The vigorously turned stem and bold trumpet base are clues that it might have come from either Spain or Portugal. Hand-turned in four pieces from solid brass and assembled, just like the original. Highly polished and lacquered to retain its luster. Candlestick is 9 1/2" high. Imported.
