SINGLE COLONIAL SCONCE

This sconce is typical of those seen in the Colonies throughout the 18th century and, in rural areas, as late as the first half of the 19th century. Handmade of tin, with a very low luster dark red painted finish. Aged drip candle sleeve holds one candelabra bulb, 45 watt maximum. Sconce is 5" wide x 13" high. Made in USA.
