Both backplate and bobeche of this single sconce are embossed in exuberant radiating designs. Tinsmiths in rural towns and villages sought to imitate in tin the expensive mirrored glass sconces used in the "fancy" homes in coastal towns and cities. Made of tin with a hand-applied antique finish. Single Sunburst Sconce measures 5" wide x 12" high. Candles only.
